How a Mesa Group engagement begins.
01 · The structured intake
Engagement with Mesa Group begins with a structured intake. A short set of questions identifies what is being mapped or built, who needs to contribute, and what the engagement scope is.
The intake takes approximately fifteen minutes. The response from Mesa Group arrives within twenty-four hours, with a defined scope, a structured proposal, and a quote.
No discovery calls. No proposal cycles. The methodology that respects time at the engagement level begins with respecting time at the inquiry level.
02 · What happens next
If the engagement is a mapping engagement, work routes to Mesa Point. The mapping team conducts the asynchronous structured intake with the participants identified in the scope. The Command Chart is delivered as three parallel views: board, operational, developer.
If the engagement is a build, work routes to Mesa Built. The Precision Brief defines the build's authority structure, the build is constructed and tested, and the deliverables transfer fully to the client at completion.
If the engagement requires both, both practice firms engage. The handoff between mapping and building does not require translation; the developer view of the Command Chart is the build specification.
